This, and following, pages are a series of photo galleries that cover some of the native wildlife that lives in out pond in the back of the house and is also a tribute to our dogs both past and present that have had such an effect on our lives. All our dogs were adopted or rescued from less than ideal situations. There will also be links to some of our favorite animal rescue organizations. All of those organizations are dedicated and have been around a long while so we know that they are reliable sources for your questions or your next dog. By the way, I am sure that all of them would appreciate any monetary donations that you could afford. Since we are experimenting with a variety of new photo galleries, any feedback that you could provide as to their usability would certainly be welcome. Check Out a few pictures of many of our dogs that we have had, and some we still have but they are getting older like us. Bud, our pointer was selected as Dare County's volunteer of the month acting as a Therapy Dog at Britthaven Nursing home for over 6 years. We had to stop bringing him though as many of his very favorite residents died and he kept looking for them. A few time he walked into a room and sensed that something was not good and would not stay long. I will include separate pages for all of out current dogs as they all have unique personalities and another page for them is warranted.
